Dear Infospree Customer,

It is with our regret to inform you that InfoSpree.net will no longer be offering internet dial-up services as of March 15, 2008. Your business and support with Infospree.net has been greatly appreciated and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

However, we are also very pleased to announce that Plant Telecommunications (Plant) has agreed to purchase our existing dial-up accounts offering you even better service at the same cost! There will be some changes that will affect you during this transition; however their service representatives are eager to help you in any way possible to make the transition a smooth one.

What changes should you expect?

Your current email address will be moved onto the planttel.net domain. In other words, you will have a new email address: username@planttel.net. Your username should remain the same as your current Infospree username, should there be any issues with your username a Plant Representative will contact you. You will be able to access your Infospree.net accounts until March 15th in order to retrieve past emails and contacts. Please be sure to record your contact information and inform your contacts of your new email address. Plant will send you a letter detailing these changes, as well as your new mail server information for those of you using Outlook Express, Outlook, etc.

Your dial-up access number will also change. You will receive a letter from Plant Telecommunications stating your dial-up access number, local for your area.

As of March 1st you will no longer receive a billing statement from Infospree.net, however all bills prior to March 1st should continue to be paid to Infospree.net.  Plant Telecommunications billing cycle is the 21st of every month for all customers. If you have paid Quarterly, Annually, or any amount in advance to Infospree.net, then these credits will transfer to your Plant account. Plant Telecommunications will continue sending your monthly, quarterly and annual statements to your email inbox. If you wish to receive a paper statement mailed to you, there will be an additional charge of $2.00 added to your bill. Plant offers many payment options for your convenience. Plant’s eBill payment option allows you to pay online using your debit card, credit card or bank check. You may also mail your payments or pay them in person at their Tifton location.  Please note: If you have automatic billing with Infospree.net, you will need to contact Plant Telecommunications to continue receiving this service. We will not disclose your credit card information; therefore they will not have that information on file. Your service fees will remain the same, however other options are available, please visit www.planttel.net for a complete list of fees, services available, and additional contact information.

What are the benefits available for switching to Plant Telecommunications?

All Plant accounts include 8 email accounts, Barracuda Spam protection and Web Accelerator, at no additional charge. Plant also offers an optional Internet Safety Kit for $6.95 per month, which is downloadable software for content filtering, virus protection, firewall and pop-up blocking. Plant also offers discounts for Church organization, Military, and Educators.
